What can you do to help?1) First of all, you can pray. You can pray about your part in helping this camp become a reality. You can ask God to give you clear direction in this endeavor. 2) Second, you can help financially. There are several ways to do this:
Sponsor an Acre - We are placing a dedication stone at the front gate of HIS Children's Camp, with the camp's logo, our purpose, Matthew 18:5 and the date, so that 50 years from now as people come in the front gate, they always remember why the camp is there. We are also engraving on the stone a dedication that a friend gave us.
What this is doing is taking the camp from having a land payment for 15 years to being paid off in a year or less. Please pray, and if you or your family, Sunday School group, club, etc. would like to join us in this adventure, please contact us. Our Puzzle Board Sponsor a Puzzle Piece - Many buildings and other supporting facilities will be needed to house and support the children we want to help. Your donation to a specific "piece of the puzzle" will help us open and operate the camp successfully. Taggart's Barn is one of those 'puzzle pieces.' This will be our dining/hall activity building. Right now you can sponsor a square foot of Taggart's Barn for $50. Details Help with Operations - As HIS Children's Camp continues to grow there is a need for funds to cover monthly expenses such as utilities and insurance. The camp is seeking partners who would commit to giving $20 a month to help meet these expenses. Please contact us at 417-652-3351 is you feel God is leading you to do this. Personal Support for Staff - There are currently two staff families living and working on site at HIS Children's Camp. Neither of these families are receiving a salary for their work as they have agreed that they should not receive compensation until the camp is more established. The Abbotts and the Akers are seeking personal monthly support so they are able to continue in this ministry. If you are interested in helping these families you may donate online or mail your donation to HIS Children's Camp P.O. Box 336 Cassville, MO 65625. Please designate how you want your donation applied. Donate to the Trust Fund - There is a trust fund set up at Freedom Bank of Southern Missouri, PO Box 309, Cassville, MO 65625 under the name of HIS Children's Camp Building Fund. All donations are tax-deductible and will be gratefully and humbly received. Donate Online - You may donate directly to us online by going to JustGive.org or by going to our Living Tribute page. Our Living Tribute page gives you the opportunity to donate in honor of a person or an event. 3) Third, you
can donate tools or materials. View our list of needs
for new or barely used materials.
And Finally, you can volunteer your time or use your talents. If you would like to volunteer please contact us at the Camp:
